The Journal
Humanitas is an academically driven journal published by and for university students and scholars. As the name implies, the journal covers all areas of the humanities such as history, politics, current events, literature, the arts and poetry. In addition to articles, readers will find news on up-and-coming events around London from museum exhibitions to orchestra concerts. Humanitas gives a voice to all members of the academic community and aims to educate and encourage conversation.

Elizabeth Rae
Elizabeth studies History and Art History, with a passion for archaeology and classics. She has excavated in Kent and Sardinia, and volunteers for English Heritage. As the founder of Humanitas, Elizabeth is committed to learning and sharing knowledge, as well as building community.

Laura Janine Burmeister
Laura is a journalist and photographer, currently living in Indiana, USA.
She enjoys travel due to her love for languages and culture. She also plays the piano and violin, and loves to cook.
